Peter Garramore D.M.D., M.A.G.D.
Dr. Garramore is a native of Biddeford, Maine, and a graduate of Biddeford High School and the University of New England. Following college, Dr. Garramore pursued a graduate degree in biochemistry from the University of New Hampshire on a full academic scholarship.
During his graduate studies, Dr. Garramore realized that he desired to have a people-oriented lifestyle and not the lonely laboratory life of a scientist. His uncle Jim Ivory, a New York City oral surgeon, had a profound influence on him and he decided to follow in his uncle’s footsteps.
Dr. Garramore’s decision to attend dental school took him to Oral Roberts University School of Dentistry in Tulsa, Oklahoma. At graduation Dr. Garramore was awarded the Academy of General Dentistry outstanding senior dental student award by the dental faculty.
Following his dental school graduation, Dr. Garramore completed a general practice residency in dental medicine at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. Then he returned to Biddeford and established his general dental practice.
Dr. Garramore currently lives in Scarborough and is married to the love of his life, Ginger. His interests included sports cars, cats, bettering his overall health, and local professional sports, including the Boston Celtics, Maine Celtics and Portland Sea Dogs.
